It was RESOLVED to approve the draft minutes of a meeting of the council held on Tuesday 28 July 2020 as a correct record of proceedings and to add the company details of visitors to the attendance list as well as including these in the body of the minutes.

Consideration of the impact of the social distancing measures introduced to Queensway by Milton Keynes Council in order to promote public safety in response to Covid 19 pdf icon PDF 660 KB

Members noted that the extra-ordinary meeting had been called to enable the Council to reach a resolved position on social distancing measures which had been introduced into Queensway by MK Council using ERDF funding and discussion followed.


It was RESOLVED to notify  Milton Keynes Council that the Town Council preferred that the current hard road closure be extended to Oxford Street and the bus be re-routed  following consultation with the community;  if this change to the road closure could not be accommodated then Milton Keynes Council be asked to provide parking enforcement all day every day for the duration of the closure.    In addition Milton Keynes Council would be asked to provide written information explaining why the road closure has been placed in the current position.
