The Committee considered the following planning applications. It was RESOLVED that its recommendations would be submitted.

It was NOTED that this application would go to Ashford Borough Council for determination; the Town Council could not comment as they are the land owners.

20/01698/AS	Little Harbourne, Harbourne Lane. Change the use of land to keeping of horses (retrospective); replacement stable building and proposed vehicle track. Mr. Stephens moved to Little Harbourne, in Harbourne Lane in 2000 and had been renting the field and stables for 20 years; he bought the land two months ago. Formal planning permission had never been obtained for this land and as new owners Mr. Stephens wanted to rectify the irregularity of planning permission not being obtained initially. His intention was to replace the old stables to bring the building up to a more acceptable standard of construction, to install low wattage lighting and to extend the hardstanding between the land and the stable. The Planning Department at Ashford Borough Council advised Mr. Stephens to submit a single application for the changes he wanted to put in place and to confirm the retrospective elements within it.
